A GEOBIT é uma empresa integralmente Portuguesa, fundada a 24 de Junho de 1988, actuando desde essa data no mercado nacional e Europeu, nas áreas de Fotogrametria, Topografia e Cartografia Temática, visando a aplicação posterior dos seus produtos, quer nas áreas de Engenharia Pura, quer em Gestão Geográfica nas suas mais variadas vertentes. A GEOBIT não limita a sua actividade à criação de produto final cartográfico, quer em desenho em suporte físico quer em ficheiros gráficos para computador, estando também vocacionada para organizar e implementar, directa ou por meio de consultadoria, Bases de Dados Gráficas e Temáticas, de forma que os seus produtos possam não só ser integrados em Sistemas de Informação Geográfica, como por si só possam ter uma utilização funcional e prática para os seus utilizadores. GEOBIT, Lda., is a fully Portuguese company, established in 24 of June 1988, working since this date in the national and European market, in areas like of Photogrammetry, Topography, Cadastre and Thematic Cartography, aiming posterior application of its products, in the areas like Pure Engineering or in Geographic Management in its varied flows. GEOBIT, Lda., does not limit its activity to the creation of cartographic end item, in drawing in physical support or in graphical filing-cabinets for computer, GEOBIT, Lda., is also organized to implement, directly or by consultancy, Graphical and Thematic database, in a way that its products can not only be integrated in Geographic Information Systems, as by itself they can have a functional and practical use for its users. To carry through these aims, GEOBIT, Lda., developed software for topographical calculation, acquisition of three-dimensional data in devices of photogrammetric restitution, construction of Digital Terrain Models, as well as the most varied tools of Software for manipulation of all this information. Due to quality of its work the GEOBIT, Lda., conquered prestige and respect in national and European markets, therefore, since 1991, carried through regularly works for France and Germany, and all its deliveries have been postponed and with the required quality. GEOBIT, Lda., is proud of being the exclusive dealer of photogrammetric software PHOTOMOD, from Racurs company, since July of 2000 for Portugal, Spain, Cape Verde, S. Tomé and Príncipe, Mozambique and Brazil, and of the software of CAD CADian, that by contract is the exclusive dealer for Portugal and Angola.
